Frequently Asked Questions

  • The subscription plan lasts for a minimum of 12 months, after which it converts to a month-to-month plan. You can cancel anytime after the 12-month period, but if you cancel, you will not retain ownership of the site.

  • If you cancel before the 12-month period, you'll be responsible for paying the full cost of the site ($3,500), minus any payments you've already made. We prioritize long-term relationships with our clients and seek clients who share this same philosophy.

  • Every invoice comes with a 7-day grace period for payment. If an invoice is not paid within 7 days, a $25 late fee will be applied. For subscription clients, if multiple monthly invoices remain overdue for extended periods, we reserve the right to cancel the contract, and the client will be responsible for paying the full price of the site. We are generally flexible and understanding of certain situations, and often offer assistance where possible. However, if there is a lack of communication or response to our messages, we must take necessary steps to ensure we are compensated for our time and effort in creating the site, and to avoid being taken advantage of.

  • When you sign a contract, whether lump sum or subscription, if we’re unable to create a design that you are 100% satisfied with and you choose not to proceed, we will refund any payments made to start the project. Once we begin building the site, no refunds will be issued. After that point, any refunds will be at our discretion.

  • Yes! We offer a $50/month subscription add-on for unlimited edits and support, with a 12-month minimum commitment. This service cannot be paused or turned on and off monthly. If you cancel and wish to reinstate it later, a new 12-month commitment will be required.

  • We typically complete a website within 2-4 weeks, depending on how quickly clients respond to our content and image requests, as well as the availability of our designers and developers. The timeline can vary—sometimes it’s 2 weeks, sometimes 3.

  • Unfortunately, no. However, you will retain ownership of your domain and assets.

  • Our websites offer better security, faster load times, easier maintainability, lower costs, and greater customization options. Since we don't rely on plugins, there’s less bloat and no need for constant updates like with WordPress, which can leave your site vulnerable to security risks, such as redirects to malicious sites. To elaborate on security, our custom-coded sites have no databases, meaning there’s nothing for hackers to target. Our sites are inherently more secure, without the constant need for updates or fear of attacks. No matter how hard hackers try, there’s no entry point on our sites.

  • We send invoices via Square, which includes a link to a secure page for adding payment information. Subscriptions are paid by credit or debit card, and we accept all major credit cards. For lump sum projects, payments are made via ACH bank transfer to minimize processing fees. We do not accept checks or money orders.

  • Yes and no. SEO consists of two main parts: On-page and Off-page. On-page SEO includes elements on the site, like content, load times, accessibility, and layout. Off-page SEO involves activities outside the site, such as link building, guest posting, and citations. Our packages include some on-page SEO, like fast load times, accessibility, meta tags, Google Search Console setup, sitemap generation, and basic content creation. However, SEO is an ongoing process that goes beyond that. If you’re interested in professional SEO work, let us know, and we’ll connect you with someone to discuss their services, plans, and pricing.
